Injury Prevention Programmes
Negatively impacting upon sporting performances & leisure activities when not preventing one from participating at all, not to mention lowering fitness levels, injuries are the bane of a sportsperson's life.
Believing that prevention is better than cure, Gold Standard's Injury Prevention Programmes (which include ankle, knee, hamstring, groin & shoulder-specific plans) promise to minimise/eliminate the chances of athletes suffering a sports injury. After evaluating each sportsperson on a one-on-one basis; taking their age, gender, condition, genetics and injury history into account; Gold Standard's Performance Scientists shall devise a specific, individualised Injury Prevention programme.
Each athlete's progress is continuously monitored throughout the programme, ensuring real and tangible physical improvements are being made. Sport-specific warm-ups and warm-downs that incorporate key aspects of injury prevention are also available upon request. As with all of their services, Gold Standard's Injury Prevention Programme is open to athletes of all ages, abilities and codes.
